Hello! My name is Vanessa Villegas. Welcome to my JMS 430 website for the Fall 2025 semester. I am a fourth-year journalism student at San Diego State University. I am a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) club on campus. I am also a contributor for the Daily Aztec. I will be adding more of my stories to this portfolio as the semester goes on.
I am an aspiring TV news reporter/anchor. I am interested in reporting on topics like arts/culture, news, immigration, and any issues that impact the Latino community. I'm hoping this website allows me to showcase all my journalism skills and work I have accomplished to my future employers.
